Morning all

I'm even more belatedly than @Drago this morning.
Quite windy here - forecast to be like it all day.
Mates coming round at noon and we're having a walk up to the Railway Inn for lunch.

Ooh that was good David Attenborough and the giant sea monster, i collect DVD's to keep boredom at bay and this was interesting about a huge pliosaur discovered off Dorset, also included 'Attenborough and the giant dinosaur' about a huge sauropod discovered in Argentina which weighed 70 tons or 15 African elephants

Our granddaughter visited Lyme in the summer and toured the museum as well as doing a bit of fossil hunting on the beach. She was fascinated by the story of Mary Anning, " She sells sea shells on the sea shore ". She has a small collection of " interesting " pebbles, bits of quartz etc that she gathers and brings any new aquisition round to show me when she visits. ( we often make up a fantastical story about its origin )

Nana snuck downstairs, made coffee and snuck back up again. She thought Granddad didn't notice. Granddad decided to let this behaviour go by without comment..........he didn't forget though.

Cooooeee you lot. Well we have has rain for over 24 hours, and I can see sleepy rainy Hail on the patio as well so it's cold. Snow may be in the forecast for today as well

Another day for staying near the fire what I have just started.

Good morning all.
Today's strong wind has not arrived yet, but is due here around early afternoon.
We are going out to dinner and meeting up with friends in a pub near Knebworth today. MrsP has been there before.
We should be home in time for the Spurs v Liverpool game though.

No need to rush home, I will tell you the score now....... 4 nil to the red men
