Seen in local paper: Road closes after water main bursts in Nottinghamshire village, pub still open.
So far, so mundane. However, this very impressive leak was in East Leake! Just asking for it, calling a village that name, what were they thinking?
Might have to rename it East Lake.
Before @Dave7 gets on the phone to his lad, note that this is East Leake, the pub in question is the Nag's Head, not his son's Star in West Leake.
Hope he gets increased custom as a result.

We have a red wind warning from the local Facebook travel page. Looks like it could get a bit hairy here. We have fire, we have candles, and we have a portable battery that we can plug the Internet into. And we have small gas camping stove we can use of we need to.

How do you defrost it or don't you bother?
Sue always insisted that frozen meals had to be defrosted for 24 hours.
It was drummed into me but I just can't see it.......... I buy a curry from Aldi and if frozen I just shove it in the micro.

Sue was right. We always defrost anything we have cooked then frozen.
