It's gone dark and its hissing down again :rain: :rain: :rain:

Same here. We are sitting in the front room, but have had to turn the light on. Oh the expense!

For all the forecasted rain for Hamtun ... It hasn't! (yet).
Couple of miles walked with Bonnie 🐶 then a pleasant ride along the banks of the Nene before doing a bit of solo shopping.
Back home now for a coffee and a Pain au Chocolat.

Started raining on then posh side of town about 5 minutes ago Pete.

Some parish carcil paperwork done, will have a quick 40 winks.

The rains have now hit the Lowlands of North Hamtun! ☔

Aye, raining heavy up here on the hill. 55mph winds and torrential water from the sky forecast for the weekend.

Just put the ♻️ bin out for the dustmen.

Evening all . Nothing much to report . I have been and had a discounted flu jab, the only thing is I had to drive from Coventry to Kineton to get it, as that’s where my wife is now working.😂 Probably spent more on fuel than I saved on the jab. 😀. I was hoping to treat myself to coffee and cake at Gilks cafe cafe but I was too late as they were shutting up as I got there.
In some good news my daughter starts a new job tomorrow. It’s not what she wants to do , it’s shop work in a chemist and it’s only 24 hours a week but it does have advantages.
1) It puts distance between her and the problem she had with the nhs.
2) it gives her time to continue job hunting while being paid.
3) And most importantly, her new boss understands her situation and has said he will write her a really good reference. 😀
