Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I might avoid answering the phone today. It will probably by more insurance people wanting me to sign up with them.

So far I have quotes from companies from Ā£198 to whopping Ā£1,000. For my buildings insurance. Yeah. No

Youā€™ve to be careful with comparison sites and tick the little box saying you donā€™t want phone calls. Itā€™s easily missedā€¦..no doubt intentionally on their part.

Damp and drizzly here. Kids up, breakfasted, dressed and out to school with no dramas. Housework done (my wife is beginning to get back into it so that helps) Bins out, retrieved, then out into the next street, that way I get a double empty

And so we start Xmas present wrapping

I have an old spare phone, the Doro one with big buttons that some oldies use šŸ˜®. I chucked a Tesco PayGo sim in it and use it for those organisations that insist on a contact phone number. If it rings I know it's junk and can safely ignore ( or answer if I'm feeling mischevious )

Good morning from soggy Dorset. A meet up with friends for curry at the Dilli Haat in Westbourne last night ( they should open a branch in Ilkley ). Trip to the kitchen manufacturers factory/ showroom to look at handles šŸ¤” and then prepare for our trip to London tomorrow. We'll be seeing new grandson Max for the first time, the poor lad spent the first four months of his life attached to tubes and listening to the beeps of medical equipment. He's home now and so we can visit at last šŸ˜.

Best wished to the grandson - I know how you feel as our grandson was stuck in hospital for 4 months when he was born
In our case it was during first lockdown which didn;t help!!

but it is a worrying time - hope he is out of the woods now - or at leats on a path with a view of the last few trees!!!
