The day that I use one of then or have to go to a car wash is the day I pack up driving.

It would hardly be worth it for my little Aygo. If I can’t clean that myself, I agree. I barely use the thing anyway.

I see next door have one of these mobile car valeting services doing their car. I watched him for a while and he is doing a great job. Very thorough.

Next door have one round sometimes to tart up their 2 BMWs and Porche

he spends pretty much all day doing them and does a damn good job

looked the company up and checked the price
then got the bucket and sponge out and did it myself!!!

Yep……I reckon for the time he was there, there wouldn't be much change from £100.

I have used the Waves one in Tesco car park

they seem to do a good job and worth it if the inside is a mess (I blame the grand kids!)

but only once or twice a year - and normally when it is cold out

I worry about using the car wash places elsewhere as I see a lot of things in the press about Police raids and finding all sorts of dodgy practices - such as modern slavery and stuff.
I presume - possible naively - that Tesco would not allow them to use their spaces if they were not sure they were clean (sorry!!)

but most of the time I just do it myself with a bucket, sponge and hosepipe

Rib eye steak and egg today

I had quick and easy chilli con carne and rice. It was tinned chilli out of the Co-op which was surprisingly good. Much better than Stagg, which used to be good.
