Hello all.
So, why was I wide awake at 0500 today.
A REALLY quiet day for me. Even my cleaner is not coming as she and her family move into their new house.

I watched an old film yesterday that for some reason I have not watched previously....... Saving Private Ryan. Very graphic and moving. I may watch another film today.

We have the carpet fitter due at nine. Mrs Tkk has got some dark chocolate digestives, and a packet of Hob Nobs for him, hopefully I will manage to snaffle a few for myself.

I had that done once, prior to a hernia op. It took me by surprise as I was not told it would happen. I managed to relax and let it happen

When I went in for mine they issued me with a bic razor and told me to get on with it myself. Fortunately I knew what to expect and had arrived already prepared 😁

I have sat in that chair as well, I had a couple of very attractive nurses do the job. I have also had a full bladder scan whilst being watched by a room full of students.

Morning all, I was chatting to a good friend in the USA until 2am this morning, so a bit of a leisurely start for me before heading off for a few dents, and a meet up for a coffee with someone later, life is getting slightly easier.

Yay - Fish Friday!
Got to go to the docs at 11am for a ECG and check up. Apparently, they like to do an ECG every 5 years and it's been 12 years since I last had one.
Will walk down to the surgery, which is just around the corner from the pub and the chippy.
Tried out my new MiG welder yesterday. Easy to use and does a decent job. Bargain for £69.

Good morning all.
Another grey damp start to the day here.
The 4th of 6 physio appointments this morning at the hospital. Gives me a chance to cycle for a bit to stretch the legs.
The check up I had yesterday went well, but the doctor had now put me on Statins as my cholesterol is still slightly high, 5.4% the threshold is 4%. My blood pressure is not bad, and my weight is 9.5 kilos lighter than the last check up in February. I'll have to see how I get on with them.
I have a reduced meeting of the escape committee this afternoon in the Railway Bell,
That's today in a nutshell.

Just had message from my brother. He just got back from taking one of his cats to the vet. She had to have 6 teeth extracted at a cost of £1.012.00. . I'm glad I don't have any pets.

Does Mr WD not cost you more though?
