The last time in was in Leeds was 1978 and I slept all night on the Headrow. I would have been 24. Nope, not a night on the beer. Queuing for tickets to see Bob Dylan at Earls Court. There was a record shop, possibly Vallances, selling tickets. One per person. What a gig it was, absolutely blew me away. To get a flavour listen to live album Bob Dylan at Budokan. Same band, pretty much the same set list.
Those were the days. No mucking about with Ticketbastard. Straight forward first come, first served and if you were really desperate you did sleep on the pavement.
Anyway. Your correspondent is enroute to Manchester. A nice new Northern Rail train. Very good. I have my appointment with the independent consultant for the PI claim following the RTA. Very obliging my knee has swollen like a balloon today.
Bonfire party at a friend's place this evening. I hope this will mean beer and hotpot
