Morning all, been up awhile. Shaved, showered and washed the kitchen floor, it was filthy. Same as others about Chris Hoy, but reading an article earlier, it appears his wife was diagnosed last year with multiple sclerosis. Double sadness.

I didn’t know that .Makes the news even sader.

My visitors have cancelled. His wife has come down with this dreaded cold that's going around.
Gives me a free day which I don't mind as I have some films to watch plus TV sport.

It was so miserable earlier that 🐱 and I went back under the duvet for a siesta. Bit brighter now. Wonder if I could get an hours walk before it comes back on later along with the wind. Seems calm so far.

Hand made bread is rising and the coffee and walnut cake is in the oven. It will be a gym session for me later, certainly not going out on the bike and I cannot stay in on my own all day. Have fun.

Obviously, you are a better team than us at the moment as, whilst we are improving, we have a long way to go to be back at the top echelons of Europe.

The signs are promising though. Hopefully with the passing of another couple of seasons we will be back in serious contention for the league title and European honours.

@Dave7 forgot to mention this. We have another of your lads on a season long loan. Owen Beck. A very promising left back. If Slot ever wants shot of him I hope we're first in the queue.

One of our two best players on the park yesterday. The other nine were poor.
