Went to bed feeling fine.Woke up about 2AM. Coughing, Sweating and generally feeling rough and nose running like a tap.

Shouldn’t be surprised Mrs P has been suffering with a cold all week.There seems to be a lot of it about.

I could never take to Brokenwood but I loved Father Brown. I am totally up to date with them and hoping they might make more.

Apparently filming for Father Brown is currently taking place in the Cotswolds

Managed an Aldi dash and got everything on my list. They had 2 different white** wines on offer. Reduced from £7.99 to £3.99 so I took a chance and stocked up on them.
**I was always a red wine person but my taste buds have changed a lot lately.

It's beautiful out there right now, like summer. Hard to believe rain is forecast for mid day.

I have just ordered a pair of long bibbed cycling bottoms from Temu for £9.16 delivered, I was not expecting much, but I have been surprised in the past.

The sun is out, and it is quite warm. 17⁰c at the moment.
I've done my few little jobs, vacumed downstairs and I'm now on my 4th cup of tea.
I'm going out for a bike ride shortly and Iay well stop at the Mitre for a pint on the way home.

Right 'fess up........ What is your favourite drink at the Mitre ?
I am going to a local shortly and will have John Smiths Smooth.
I prefer real ale and they are constantly putting new ones on........ problem is that for me many are too bitter.
