Morning all.
Supposed to be dry but cold today.
Weird feeling...... My cleaner who normally comes Friday switched to yesterday and my Thursday pub visit was switched to Wednesday. It has left me feeling that I should be doing something but the day looms empty.

The problem with a dormer is the shape of the roof, which of course is often where the bedrooms are, as the wind blows over and around it a lot of noise is created. We never had the problem in the houses or the bungalow in much the same position before. The wind was gusting up to 50k per hour here during the night.

Good morning from a wet Dorset. Still no hedgehog activity, the cameras picking up the usual nightly cat patrol and a couple of nosey foxes. A family of field mice have taken up residence under the roof tiles that I used as a base for one of the hedgehog houses, it's quite comical seeing a little head appear and start sniffing the air before fully emerging. Not a lot on today, cough still persists, I will see if I can get to Wimborne on foot without getting soaked 🤞

Bravely walked Mini D to school in the battering wind and rain. It's chuffing freezing in that wet wind, significant wind chill there.

As usual, a bit of rain means that those who often did walk are being driven. Throw in some local flood closing many roads and the while pkace is gridlocked, with no one in a four wheeler actually getting anywhere. On my return walk I could see the same cars still stuck on the same piece of tarmac they were on 20 minutes earlier on my outward walk. Idiotic lemmings the lot of them.
