The coastguard plane that patrols the channel, used to take off and land at Doncaster, that is a long way from Dover.

Stick with ironing your clothes for now. Move to kippers when you've banished creases from your clothes.

I think it's still raining but I haven't opened the curtains yet. This blinking cough is persistent so I'm sitting downstairs as I don't wish to disturb Mrs Tkk. No hedgehog activity for a couple of days, hope they are okay and haven't been predated.
