I’m the total opposite. Most days I can’t wait to get in, shut the door and just enjoy my own company.

I wish I could be like that at the moment.

I popped over to Nottingham to see some of the staff at the hospital, on the way back I stopped at Boundary Mill in Grantham a large outlet shop, a bit upmarket but hey ho, anyway despite trying on several jackets, shirts and jumpers I did not buy anything, which is starting to get a bit worrying as my clothes are currently all size or two on the large size. I did try a nice Barbour jacket on at £350. I am glad the arms were too tight; fitted great on the body, but even with no sleeves on, it was cutting the circulation to my hands.

Back home now feeling lonely and wondering what to do for dinner.

Well you live and learn. I thought there was only one Boundary Mill. The one near us is at Colne. It's the original and was established on the site of an earlier mill called.............you guessed it. Not a cheap place to shop but there are genuinely good prices to be had. I buy shoes there as they have a very wide range of Skechers shoes that specialise in wide and extra wide fittings. They also have Pavers but this brand is generally aimed at women. The thing is about Skechers is the offer shoes that don't immediately define one as old!

We were there on Thursday. I got a couple of very nice Weird Fish tops.

I did try a couple of those on but I do not like the collars on the, being truthful I doubt I was in the mood for shopping, more than likely just wanted some company.

@Dave7 you mentioned a travel insurance company who covered you while you had cancer. Can you remind me of the name? I'm struggling to get cover for Mrs P.

It was called Insure With.
They were very good and we stayed with them for a few years (until we stopped traveling abroad.
Edit.
Insurance with (not insure with).

Evening folks :okay: Had an enjoyable ride over to Loch Fleet today, on the way a red squirrel legged it across the road in front of me! Clearly not 'Tufty' from the old road safety adds. There werent any trees where it was heading i expect it might have been going to get some black berries or hazel nuts.
Had to take a phone call from my 'work coach' from Uni- credit  but wasnt going to wait in for it, so chatted to her at Loch Fleet with all the wild fowl making a racket in the back ground

Barnet,
Congratulations I will put your name forward for a free cruise,a choice of 2000 or 3000 fellow passengers depending which boat.best of luck.

Hi Postie , what is the name of the ship you are on? We did the similar cruise last year, and although it was a bit busy, it wasn't uncomfortable. We did get the customer services on board to stop the automatic gratuity facility so we only paid who we wanted to pay, and when.
