No. They will send a letter to you telling you A. That you owe tax. B. How much you owe as well .

You can either go online and pay or phone them and pay over the phone.

Either way, you don't have to do anything. They will contact you.

You would think it would be easier just to tax at source? So I take it this will be a yearly occurence?

Getting back to the important subject of the day, my bedding, how when I put the cover in the washing machine the right way out does it come back out inside out, as well as being in a tight ball full of the other washing that was in there, domesticity is playing havoc with my brain.

A trick for you.
Take the duvet out, roughly straighten cover then fasten two or three buutons/press studs. Problem sorted.

A question!!
I need a new fry pan plus a pan for eg pasta (for my new induction hob) .
Daughter does a lot of stuff for me as she is cooking for family but I want some indipendance so......
Question is........
Can I get by with one saucepan?
If so what size?

I am presuming when I start getting my state pension next year and go over the tax allowance, they will automatically deduct tax from it?

Yes, they automatically take it out of the private pension part of your total income.

Mine is deducted at source from my private company pension each month.

Different rules in Wales?
