Been several years since I wore any. I just don’t find them comfortable.
I got round my walk with just a short spell of drizzle. The worst thing was the drips coming off the trees but it was too warm to put my hood up.

Back from a very damp walk, 6 miles along the canal to Heriot Watt, caught the bus home. As I got off the bus Mr Half of the Proclaimers was waiting to get on. But a few moments later I may have spotted another famous face, somebody in full Ineos kit and Pinarello making their way through the village, I’m in no way certain but I think it was Tom Pidcock. Last seen just yesterday racing at the MTB Worlds in Andorra, on the start sheet for the Kelso start of the Tour of Britain tomorrow. Perhaps the team are staying in Edinburgh today, there’s certainly more hotels here than there are in Kelso.

I had a short spin on Zwift before lunch which was pea and ham soup and a couple of slices of bread.
Quite heavy rain again just now and there’s no cycling to watch as it’s a rest day. I may be tempted to have a little siesta.

40 mins on treadmill just completed
A spot of lunch then 30 mins on the turbo followed by 40 mins on the multigym.
Indoor exercise gear is a godsend in this weather!
