I've had a letter from our GP informing me that as I no longer live in their area they're removing me from their books.

Yet the letter was addressed to me at my house...in their area...

I rang them up and they reckoned theyll sort it, but I'm not confident so I may drop in with my driving licence and a map.

Yes - worth going to make sure

if you don;t and something goes wrong with their "admin systems" then you could suddenly need them and they don;t have your records

I hate my photo taken, but Margaret took a selfie of the two of us. God, my hair is getting really grey!

I think Margaret looks amazing for 81 and managed an 8 mile walk no problem.

I love my hair short too. Wash and quick towel dry and that’s it.

An exciting day for me tomorrow; I am going back to the hospital and hotel to see the staff and nurses, which means fuss will be made of me, chocolate has been purchased, 48 bars of dairy milk, and a cake will be picked up en route, all to be gifted to hardworking people.
