Good morning all. A bit of a cloudy start to the day here, heavy thundery showers forecast for this afternoon. Hopefully it will refill my waterbutt which is now empty.
I've got a few errands to run today so I'll be out on the bike should be 10 -15 miles into the legs.

It's wet. It has poured down since 3.00. Today's excitement:

• 8.00am - Wound dressing clinic to get wounds fixed
• 9.00am - garden machinery shop to get strimmer fixed
• 10.30am - Specsavers to get eyes fixed

Too much fixing going on. I shall catch up later when I'm fixed.

We are expecting lots of rain today. To be honest I'm not upset as it's been too hot. Hopefully the rain will cool things down a bit.

Just checked the local weather, 30 degrees yesterday, 27 today with chance of rain this afternoon. It feels like there's a storm brewing.

Speaking of beer, an impulse purchase of a four pack of Guinness Zero yesterday led to me sampling one last night. It's extraordinarily good, they've nailed the flavour and the mouth feel. I was a Guinness drinker for decades then drifted away to other beers when more independent brewers came to the market.

I agree; I always keep some in stock here, mainly for the son's when they visit, their wives will jump straight to the Prosecco.

I have, on occasion breakfasted on buttered Weetabix. It's very messy with quite a wide debris field. I can't imagine how a rasher of bacon between two Weetabix would turn out 🤔

Morning all

Shopping in Bridgwater this morning. I need to get a number plate from Halfords, among other things.
No rain forecast here and its going up to 25°.
Will have to check over the caravan later as we are going to Dorset next week for the air show at Combe Abbas.

Wound fixed. Strimmer dropped off to be fixed.

I'm in a cafe. I had breakfast at 7.00. On the way home I thought to myself I fancy a bacon barm. Ended up ordering a Half English........hate to imagine the size of the Full English.

This is unusual behaviour for Paul.

Coooooeeee. 16 deg here and it looks like we had a bit of rain overnight as well.

I can see mist over the forest as well. Today is the last hot day abs we are expecting thunderstorms thank god.

Q day planned today because of the storms forecast. Tidy up and bass practice AM, settle down to a few episodes of Tulsa King PM.
