Coffee break, 17 socks ironed, just having 5 minutes before the fitted sheet and tea towels get the same.

Socks and towels are two items that should never be ironed.
Towels become useless at drying stuff due to the fibres being folded flat, and flattened.

Now I am not the sharpest tool in the box but something doesn't add up there.

"The Lost Sock", last seen as you loaded the washer never to be seen again.

I've just cooked a Thai green curry, using cooked chicken, a jar of thai green curry paste, coconut milk, some green beans, carrots and some jasmine rice.
Very nice it was too.

I'm finding it quite good. I recognize many of the riverside features as I visit Paris fairly regularly. I really like the city.

Well you see, the Olympics aren't actually taking place in France. They've cleared The Tower Ballroom to act as the main arena.
The opening ceremony was actually filmed with a two hour delay on The Mersey, before they put them all on trains up to Blackpool via Poulton-le-Fylde.

We've only dipped in and out but I do like the very inclusive nature of this Olympic opening ceremony. Helping people who can't afford a ticket to be involved is a great idea.

I couldn't watch the whole thing though........

That's what they wanted you to think you were seeing. A flying saucer would have caused max panic.
