Morning all

Had a great evening with our housefull - the original Friday night gang of eight.
We're all off to visit Cleeve Abbey this morning then lunch at the Royal Oak.
Weather's looking a lot better today, so we're having a bbq tonight.

Good morning all.
The heavy overnight rain and thunderstorms have finally stopped, but more is forecast for later on.
Sainsbury's are delivering the weekly goodies, there are two substitutions, honey roast wafer thin ham instead of thick cut Yorkshire ham, they can have that back, and white flesh peaches instead of the yellow flesh ones I ordered.
Failed to get a haircut yesterday, the assistant was looking after the barbers shop and not the owner who I prefer to cut my hair, so I will go again today.
Our daughter is calling in today, and no doubt she will want some tea as well.

I got a bit of a bad tummy so already been on the great white telephone twice this morning.

I wonder if that is where yellow snow comes from.

I’ve had a short spin on Zwift. I tried ROUVY again and, as much as the scenery on the routes is lovely, I miss seeing so many other riders and two things which don’t sound important, but I like on Zwift is showing the Wattbike gear display and the sound effects.

My back is still dodgy though so I took it easy.

in fact I nearly did. The band had got together in lockdown and were were thi king about renaming ourselves the Lockdown Dads and applying, but in the end we didn't get on because we accidentally addressed our letter to Simon Templar.
