Morning all.
I won't bore you with details but yesterday was very mixed.
1st let me thank Mr Screenman and others for your thoughts
, amazing how much that helps.
There were 13 people, mainly family but with a few close friends.
Lots of hugs. Lots of tears from me (we're do do all come from )
Daughter was a massive help eg everyone was invited to put some soil in and I declined. After a chat with her I managed to do it.
Granddaughter put her arm around me and supported me throughout.
Pub meal was a success though I struggled to eat anything.
Again I thank you all the support.
Good morning from a sunny London town. A full on but enjoyable day yesterday, we went for a wander around yesterday evening and finished up having a pint in the Fox on the Green. Two pints of Brixton pale ale set us back £16.70 😮.
Well done Dave, my eldest son is supporting me throughout this time, like your daughter is you, if you have any idea on how to thank them let me know.
Morning folks im still alive and kicking, though nearly hit a deer yesterday which jumped straight out in front of me....
Okey dokey im off to ebay to press a few buy it now buttons [derailleur bits]
Just hug them and cry/sob is what I have done. Few words are needed.
If you are anything like me you wont be able to speak much anyway.
If its any consolation I was thinking of you yesterday.
Good morning all, pleasantly sunny here, temp set to rise to high teens later.
Yesterday was spent in the cattle crush of the Royal Highland Show. First time we’d been there since before the pandemic. I enjoyed some of it but not the crowds. And the Food Hall wasn’t as good as I remembered it.
The Brixton brewery is very good, but as you found out, their craft ales come at a substantial price.
Whereabouts is the Fox on the Green?
