Morning all, not a good night's sleep again. Off for a swim at 6am so I might as well get up and have a bit of brekkie. I hope you all enjoy the day ahead.

Morning. Lots of rain overnight and more to come. It looks like it’s off at the moment so I’ll hopefully get a short walk. My quads are feeling yesterday’s climbing so it’ll just be the flat riverside trail this morning.

Morning all.
No rain at the moment but forecast for 0900.
I am expecting delivery of my new 2 seater sofa. Strangely they have given me a slot of 0730 to 1030.....0730 seems very early.
Cleaner should be here for 10.00.she will earn her money today as the 3 dogs have been here and the lab sheds a lot of hair. Also I opened a bottle of lemonade yesterday......it must have been shaken as it shot everywhere. I mopped it up but the whole worktop needs a wash.

Good morning, woke at 04:30 and the dawn chorus was in full spate. Just on my second coffee and the sun is out. Off to Portland lunchtime, will have to leave early as it's bus / train/ bus to reach our destination.

After a bit of advice from the bakers on here. Mrs Tkk's loaf came out of the Panasonic not having risen much, it's a malthouse flour. Any idea what's going wrong?

Can't help I'm afraid as I have never er used that flour.
After several failures I started add 50% extra yeast which helped.
Is your yeast fresh ??

Have a look at the instruction booklet. It will give you various reasons why it didn't rise.

Just had a phone call......my sofa delivery is 5 minutes away.
