It's Friday night, tea is made - kedgeree, I have a G&T, it's quiz night at 7.30. Perfect. Then a problem arises........

I have a love affair with my Cervelo C3. She is the perfect bike for me. I have to be realistic though and I know in the long-term she will have to be replaced. I have decided this will happen soon, in time for summer. Many bikes have been considered. I was heading towards the Pinarello X series............then I googled "Cervelo C3 successor".........oh what a mistake.......or is it fate.........are we star crossed lovers ❤️❤️❤️

Cervelo Caledonia. Oh my, oh my. Do I need this before I get old??????

Nice bike.
I trust you would go for the Sram equipped version.
It also has a more compact crankset. 😁

Right - picked kids up from school
got them home

Little one (4) burst into tears outside the car

could not understand what he was saying through the tears - except the word "window"

turned out that when I was getting his bag from the other side of the car to his seat
He noticed that his window was 2 inches down

he must have been playing with the buttons and left it open

and was worried that he would be told off

He is a sensitive soul!!!

anyway - we're back home and tea has been had
gluten free chicken goujons cooked in the air fryer - plus frozen M&S chips fro me and mash for my wife

not bad - GF chicken was from Tesco and the same price as the normal ones - which is nice to see

anyway that's done

I have both - my wife makes me chuck out some old kitchen "things" that never get used from time to time

screws and stuff are often beyond her range as they share space with spiders (if I plan it right!!)

but I do have a habit of storing all the left over screws when I put a flat pack thing together

I have stopped myself saving every screw I take out of things as a lot of them are rusty/stripped/broken - but I was brought up to keep those as well!

anyway - does that make be Bi???

I’ve got the major deterrent in my garage MICE

Drove back from Newcastle today, came off the A1 at Richmond and drove cross country to Leeds, so glad I did, it’s absolutely stunning.

Leeds is a great city, your son will have a blast, Gunk!
I seem to recall the Uni had the longest corridor in Europe when it was built (from when we looked around years ago!). Daughter had a placement year there with Unilever - loved it!
Well, here we are: our daughter & bf leave for Lyon airport this morning. Sadly their bus is at 6am, so guess who is driving them down the mountain. Double yawn 🫣

Good morning, probably up before Mo sets off on her meanderings 😮.
Woke just before 03:00 and realised that I wouldn't be getting back to sleep so decided to get up. There's a few of us meeting up for breakfast after parkrun this morning, a sort of belated birthday get together for Mrs Tkk and friends. Another sunny day forecast and my energy app has alerted me that leccy prices will dip as low as 0.47p mid afternoon, so time to put the washing machine/ dishwasher/ immersion heater on to make the most of it.
Training for Edinburgh not going too well, hopefully it starts to click into place soon.

Good morning all.
A lovely sunny start to the day here.
We're listening to Tony Blackbum on the radio and the first mug of tea is being drunk :cuppa:
I woke up twice during the night for a pee, which is unusual, although my legs are a little swollen which will be fluid retention as I. Not as active as normal.
Another day of gentle exercise and I'll watch the FA cup games on the telly box this afternoon.
Enjoy your day everyone.
