The Twin Otter and the Shorts Skyvan are the only aircraft known to have suffered a bird strike from behind ...Yeah those blue and white 'Twotters' are such a common sight. I was on the train once (a class 320 (Scotrail)) heading west to Dumbarton and watched as one flew parallel to us, it seemed almost as though we'd out pace the poor thing, but gradually, it caught up and drifted past. It was all so slow though! 😆
This just flew overhead… in fact it’s come back for a second run as I type this!

Apparently a bunch of Hercs did a farewell round the country flight the other day there, but I missed it completely.
I kinda' like Hercs too.
I remember a couple visiting in 1967.Funny, I saw 2 of them over Falkirk the other day. Never seen them in Scotland before.

Maybe F-15s ? They are a fairly common sight over Lincolnshire and East Anglia.Sat on Mablethorpe beach, what appears to be a couple F18 Hornets flying around for the last hour.
Couple of Eurofighters are showing south of here, but these F18s ? are not showing at all on ADSB
