I bought these trousers I've previously mentioned yesterday, in a 'please cut to' note to the seller, asking for a thirty two and a quarter inch inseam length. £120 after discount code and sale price, so I'm quite happy with my buy.🧐

I have just taken fashion advice from Accie and bought the full 3 piece suit of the above

I think I'll be OK but should I start worrying that I might start following his foray into the blaxploitation pimp gear or perfume. Nah, I'll be fine ... and yet I was rather taken by those Loakes co-respondant shoes he'd got himself.

"No mo' f..k.r's gonna f..k with you wearing that headpiece Accy"!!! I think I saw hood brother Shaft wearing similar in the 70's, when he was on my case for messing with one of his bitches! :becool:

By coincidence I have those blue tweed trousers on as I post! I too thought about buying the full suit, but I just have too many jackets and waistcoats. I bet the suit will look good though! :okay:

These are quite 'in fashion' now. When I say 'in fashion' I mean I've seen another two chaps wearing spectator shoes since I bought mine the other day. They aren't Loake upwards quality, but the plusess are they are lighter, so better for spring/summer and after 3 days of wearing them I haven't had any breaking in agony I have to endure every time I buy a pair of Loake shoes/boots. They were also the only pair of spectator shoes I could find with a rubber sole. All the rest had a dangerous for me leather (slippery) sole. I ordered them at 2 am on Wednesday morning and they arrived at 11.30 am on Thursday morning. How about that eh! Thirty three and a half hours from ordering to receiving them, and I got a free shoe horn as well!

Ah yes, but they're not Loakes. https://justinreess.co.uk/products/justin-reess-england-kai-in-brown Loake are too square/conservative to make such things as spectator shoes!! :okay:

I nearly wore them today, but settled for a less 'flamboyant' pair of oxblood brogues, seeing as I had a dental appointment and didn't want to mesmerize the dentist with them, taking her mind off her work! Maybe I'll wear them tomorrow when my purple pimp hat makes its first appearance!!:becool:

Another 'by coincidence'. On about perfume, that bottle of Floris Santal I bought Christmas before last, along with a bottle of Floris Elite as selfie Christmas presents has very nearly run out. I'll stop using it now as I always like to leave a few sprays in the bottle to remind me of the fragrance, if I ever fancy buying it again sometime. Tomorrow I'll open the Floris Elite. Heck, new hats, new 'fine fragrance', new kecks, new shoes...it's like Christmas Day every day here in Accy Towers!!:okay:

I haven't given up on these. They are still reduced in price, though I notice not one size on offer has sold out. Why is that I ask. 🤔 I suppose men these days aren't daring enough to step away from jeans or 'trackie bottoms'. Should I buy a pair before they go back up to £195. 🤔

I'm thinking about buying them as I'd say Cordings trousers are the best trousers I've ever owned or worn. Those chocolate tweed ones I bought last week are so well made, they fit so well and hang/drape so well. I watched a video earlier from The Gentlemens Gazette, saying that Fort Belvedere corduroy trousers are the best and are superior to Cordings cords. They would say that as The Gentlemens Gazette You Tube channel gets paid to say that. I've never tried/worn Fort Belvedere stuff as it's American based, so you'd have to pay more for delivery and returns, should the item not fit.

Judging from your photo, I think you are right. It's certainly not as black as my large screen cursor. How important is this to you?

Try comparing it to something you know to be black or navy; perhaps one of your many smart blazers?;)

I'd say it's that navy blue that looks like black, but isn't. :okay: It's slightly important as If it is/was black I could wear black footwear with the pattern, but then who would notice very dark navy lines against black shoes/boots. 🤔

Having just looked at it again, maybe it could be called dark charcoal.

Bolton Wanderers play in navy blue shorts, while Derby County play in black shorts. I'd say the top pair (navy) only look navy to me due to their sheen. If I stare at the black, bottom pair, after a few seconds they look dark navy. 🤔
