I received an e-mail today from the seller, offering me 25 percent off if I buy in the next 24 hours. So that'd be about £105 for 4 hats, which isn't bad at all!

I decided against buying those hats. I got to the confirm payment bit, but the applied price reduction code wouldn't apply. That kind of set the alarm bells ringing. Not only that but I've had a back of my mind doubt about those price reductions from around £90 to around £35. Also, I couldn't find anything about the time it takes from ordering to receiving the items. Are they coming from China and going to take months, especially with all the trouble with shipping in the Red Sea. I mean I might see a news report of the trouble and see some Houthi pirates wearing my fedoras! Yes, I know their prices are in dollars, but I've bought stuff 'from the USA' before, only to see my order confirmation in Chinese! Not only that, but the bloke who owns the retro clothing shop I work in said this hat...

....looks like a pimp's hat!

Instead I've decided on one of these, or maybe buy both. 🤔

This has to be one of the best things posted on CC for many a year.

Purple, but not an obviously gaudy purple I'd say.

I've had my eye on these for a while. The other night I tried to order a pair in a 32 waist, 32.5 inseam, but the Cordings site was playing up. The following day I tried again only to see they'd sold out of them in my 32 waist, probably due to their sale starting that day. Ah well, it's not the end of the world.

I've just ordered these. Not in my usual 32 inch waist as they sold out of that size the other week. I've ordered the 34 inch waist with turn ups/cuffs. I measured my waist before buying and found it to be getting on for 33 inches, so I'm sure the 34 inch waist won't be a problem and if it's a bit loose I can fill the gap with a thicker top. I saw these trousers reduced by £50, so I just had to have them, seeing as I've had my eye on them for quite a while now. Heck, this will be the first pair of trousers I've owned/worn where the waist is bigger than the leg length! I put that down to my legs getting shorter, not my waist getting bigger! :okay:
