Italian military grade leather I suppose. They're comfortable, warm and I wear them with a field jacket so the aesthetic is fine.

Beavers are trapped in the main by Conitraps, which scissor the animal under water. Mostly they drown, in a great deal of pain

I did post back thread about my concern about wearing a 'cute animal' on my head. I must admit I'm having doubts about buying a beaver fur hat, but it's not like they wait for an order to come in then go and trap a beaver and kill it for the ordered hat. The fur will already be there, waiting to be turned into hats. Yes, I appreciate that If people didn't order beaver fur hats then beavers wouldn't be trapped for their fur to end up in a workshop, waiting to be turned into hats. I'm going to hang fire and think this over! Something tells me I won't buy it due to my concerns, but I'm not saying I won't just yet.

Come warmer weather I'm going to wear white socks with sandals. 
Yes, I know it's mocked, but I feel uncomfy going almost barefoot, unless it's a very hot day and I'm out walking, not out shopping and stuff. I think white sports socks are ok, but not sure about patterned 'dress' type socks.

On the subject of beaver fur, this hat's description doesn't say which fur it's made from. Going off the price it's much less than the beaver fur one, so I think it'll be rabbit fur.
