I am going 1:1 though Arsenal could nick this one. IMO it will be close

Great match to watch. I'm not entirely sure how Arsenal lost that, they had a hatful of chances in the first half, could have been three or four up. That said, Liverpool really stepped it up in the second half & switching Nunez to the left plus the subs helped make the difference. And that Diaz goal was terrific.

Anyone know why were Arsenal's shirts devoid of the players names?

It's part of a campaign called No More Red, against knife crime and youth violence.

Liverpool, on that form, by far the more likely of the (mostly) chasing pack to keep City honest in the PL and perhaps bag a cup or two. Missing so many first-choice players, a couple of youngsters brought on as subs, and they get that result. Might win something with those kids… Arsenal were wasteful and got punished.

Sad news. 'Der Kaiser' has passed away. he seemed a nice bloke, well respected by his contemporary professionals.

I thought the young Bradley was excellent. Played way above his years

Conor Bradley? .. he was on loan at Bolton last season and was their player of the year. I think he missed a few months this season at Liverpool because of injury so it's good to know that he's back playing again.

I hadn't realised he played in the game against Arsenal - from what I've just read he only played the last 15 mins of the match. Must have played a blinder in those 15 mins to have impressed you so much.

Yep I thought it was a fantastic performance for those few minutes given his age and the match he was put into
