Bonkers. I assume there must be some kind of bad blood between them, because that's not something that just springs out of the blue. Although the heat of the moment can do daft things to people so who knows?

it sounded like (it was on the radio as well this morning) that the president reacted badly to them conceding a 7h minute of injury time equaliser, but Turkey has had a problem for a while with refs authority not being respected, worse that other countries as it is an issue throughout football.

Hard to have much sympathy for Man Utd fans these days. They've just not given managers a chance since Fergie retired, despite all of them (barring Solskjær) winning a trophy in one form or another!

I don't think the Conference League would've been a bad thing though, if Rangers had dropped down to it. After all, that would've given them a fair chance of winning a European competition. I think the Europa League is too much for them, but it'd be nice to get Liverpool or West Ham in the last 16, providing the last 16 isn't seeded or whatever.

Couldn't agree with that more Accy, especially given our extremely erratic start to the season. We were as good going forward tonight as I've seen them, yet some school boy defending almost cost us. Also, we have a cup final to look forward to on Sunday and I've a fridge full of beer already in preparation for early festivities, can't wait.
