That's the way Leeds, straight back after a defeat.Ok only Uddesfield but that's the way to do it.i still cannot understand how Bamford gets on time to let a youngun get some time out there. He is like Marmite at the moment fans are divided over him.

Can we just stop League One already? Like the look of the table. After rather middling form last season, (though an eleven-match unbeaten run to the end, too many draws to make the play-offs), rather better this time. Twenty league games unbeaten, top of the table. Even better, the neighbours are struggling so badly some on Saintsweb are hoping we go up so they don't end up playing at Fratton Park next season…

…now twenty-six games unbeaten, six points clear of Oxford and Bolton (who both have a game in hand). Not getting my hopes up…

It's hard to stay calm when things are going so well.

Stockport got their 10th league win in succession yesterday and are now 5 points clear at the top after a terrible start.
Keep telling myself it's a long old season!

Similar here, it's our (Fakirk) best start to a season in 76 years and I'm just waiting for it to go wrong. We've had 5 mserable seasons, a good one is scary.

Yup. In Pompey's case, they started really well under Danny Cowley last season, but it all went a bit pear-shaped, two months without a win. They were down in fifteenth when Danny got the boot. John Mousinho got them back up to eighth by the end of the season, and the new signings seem to have worked out nicely. Fingers crossed…

The big teams in action tonight will be wanting to avoid Boro and Port Vale in the EFL 1/4's no doubt.

Yes you're right although it will be used in the semi finals and the final.

Yeah, that's what I'd vaguely remembered from last year, because Wembley innit? I think that's a bit unfair to be honest, use it throughout or not at all. The former isn't feasible I know, but the latter certainly is.

Semi's are two legged home and away, and one of Port Vale or Boro are going to be in one of them.

I have no idea whether VAR needs extra camera equip in ground over normal televised match, or whether the VAR offsite bunker just takes what camera feeds there are, but neither ground will have anything extra as "standard" so presumably some kit may need to be brought in.

Boro have been drawn away in every round this season.
