My boys (Stockport) secured a playoff spot on Saturday, first season back in the football league after many years away so am very pleased.
Outside chance of grabbing the 3rd automatic spot too on the final day, though we need help with that from tranmere to stop Northampton winning.

My good friend and neighbour is also a County fan. He's very happy.

It's the hope that kills you.

Rovers win at Millwall.
Sunderland lose at PNE
WBA lose at Swansea

Rovers go sixth for the last playoff spot. 🤣

My wife has been asking for a month when we can book a weekend away which includes May 27th. If the above happens I can see divorce on the horizon.........

yes you really needed to win at Luton or one of the many other recent game where points have been dropped to keep it in your own hands.

needing both Sunlun and WBA to draw or lose is a big ask, assuming you can win at Millwall.

Whilst Boro have comfortably been in play offs for a while, our form has dipped and our injury / suspension list is mounting up. Howson limped off in the warm up yesterday, he was supposed to be filling in at CB due to injuries, although McNair who has been carrying a knock stepped back in and made it through the game.

Potentially our next 3 games could all be against Coventry!

There's no doubt we missed the opportunity. The draws against Coventry and PNE were very costly and turning those into wins would possibly have assured our spot.

It's been a great season, still in with a shout after 45 games, I'm disappointed we will probably miss the playoffs but happy with the season.

The fan base is happy, very little dissent, if any, and we're all in agreement we need to keep JDT as manager and back him in the summer.

A main striker, a back up man for him and an addition to midfield. Keep this squad together, Diaz is leaving for Portugal, and we have a great squad to go one better.

It will be a tough year in the Championship if we are still in it. Forest aside there are big clubs with big budgets about to be relegated from the PL.

Overall I'm a happy Rover and renewed our season tickets a month ago.

Although we've been on pretty good form recently, the draw against Hull means there is nothing in it for us any more, while West Brom will still be playing for the playoffs. So I don't think super-hopeful for you there.

I imagine Tony Mowbray might have a wry smile if he manages to keep Sunlun above you though

Just been reading that Leeds are set to sack Gracia and in talks with Allardyce. Is there some kind of English football competition I don't know about where they try to create the most badly run club?!

Leeds, Watford, Chelsea mini-league?

Add Spurs in too. Man Utd as well. Malaga, Barcelona, Juventus and AC Milan for a bit of continental flavour.

Rangers can be the Scottish representative to round out the league.

We wouldn't be allowed to compete in another league in case it disadvantaged other aspiring poorly run teams in Scotland.

The national league plays off are a marathon not a sprint, but local to me Boreham Wood and St Albans both over hurdle 1 in their respective leagues

Interestingly all 3 away teams (Kidderminster also won) prospered

I prefer the way they are done, definite advantage the higher up in the table you finish.
If Notts don't win them it will be an absolute travesty!
