Well, didn't expect that. Wolves beating Spurs.

Another step closer to safety.

Not to take anything away from Wolves by the way! Lopetegui seems to have turned things around for you guys.

He has, bought some good signings in and genuinely seems to know what he's doing.

I'm sure you wouldn't know too much about Wolves but he was the target before Nuno and the deal was all but done when he was offered the Spain job, needless to say he took it and we had Nuno who was fantastic for us.

Move on 6 yrs and here he is.

Can't say that I do, but the lure of managing your national side seems to be a powerful one. We lost a couple of managers in Mixu Paatelainen and more recently Steve Clarke.

Can't blame him at all, he's Spanish so went to Spain national team then briefly to Real and then Saville where he won the Europa cup so when he came to Wolves it was like "WTF is he doing in Wolvo"!

Spurs being Spurs really isn't it?

And West Ham were very definitely West Ham today.

Killie were Killie too, making a very ordinary Rangers side look good.

3 - 0 down at half time, perked up a bit in the second half but the game was gone by that point.

Might help if our manager didn't constantly tinker with the formation and players. I can't recall the last time we played the same XI two weeks in a row; it's no wonder the fellas look like they've never met each other.

And we're very grateful too. :okay:

What was your take on the penalty? For me it's never one (bias aside), and it seemed bizarre it took so long to get looked at.

But then the standard of refereeing in Scotland is absolutely shocking, so I'm not sure why I'm surprised.

Yeah, really poor right now and VAR has made it worse.

I wasn't there today, so at the risk of sounding like a proper manager, I haven't seen it yet.

From our point of view, we are 5hite, and we know we are.

A fabulous game of football yesterday at Ewood as Rovers beat Sheffield Utd 1 - 0. The Blades are clearly a very good side but yesterday seemed to lack a cutting edge even though they've scored a lot of goals this season. Rovers have hit peak form in our last three games, we're now playing at the level many of us felt we could achieve.

I've been critical of the manager since Christmas but if this is the culmination of what he's been trying to do then I take it all back. This result was important to keep us in the playoff race, a loss would have seen us drop to sixth.

Utd are stuttering and with Boro and Rovers hitting top form second is beginning to look like a three way contest.

Best game I've watched this season with two sides playing very, very good football and a great atmosphere in the ground. With a little luck and two shots six inches lower Rovers would, possibly should, have been 3 - 0 winners.

Keep it going boys. Stoke next.

I have now seen it, and whilst the ball did strike the defenders arm, its a perfect example of decisions that would never have been taken pre VAR, and don't believe anyone would have complained too much.
