Im not feeling that optimistic to be honest. But lets see what team he picks, i dont blame klopp one bit, he uses the players he has and those players this season, cant currently do what hes asking…for a few reasons age and injuries being the major issues.

But for me klopp stays and the players go, not the other way round. He has for me got a few seasons grace due to what he has done for the club in the past 5 seasons and i think FSG feel the same way.

I agree with a lot of what you say but we still have TAA, VVD, Gomez, Matip, Kanate and Robo. If we can't get it right with that group we really have a problem.

They are all defenders, its too late once it gets to them….you defend from the front, not from the back.

A striker doesnt score his goals on his own, the same as a defender cant stop goals on their own. Its a team and all areas of the team need to work in unison. The moment a link in the chain becomes weak, the chain brakes……our weak link is the ageing midfield and the injured strikeforce.

Again I agree with a lot of what you say. However our defence just seems non plussed a lot of the time.
We shall see tonight.

Rovers are now at home to Birmingham in the fourth round, a match we should be looking to win. JDT will almost certainly put out a much changed side which I'm interested to see as I haven't watched this alternative, I won't use reserve or second, team he uses.

The club need to price tickets to match the "attractiveness" of this fixture. Blackburn population is 115,000, 142,000 including Darwen, and has never been a wealthy area. Price this at £30 and the gate will probably be 6/7,000 plus Birmingham City support. Go for £10 and there's a decent chance of 15-16,000 including BIG club fans.

Any of our Scottish contributors any comments about Ryan Porteous, Hibs, as we're in for him.

A decent performance. Gapko needs to improve quickly.
Youngsters did well, especially Harvey.

gakpo is a left midfielder...hes filling uptop as we have no strikers, cant judge him on 2 performances in a team with no forwards

Sorry to go back to an old debate but i've only just managed to catch up with the manchester derby.
What was ever wrong with the old offside rule?It was simple, if you were the attacking team and your player/players were in front of the opposition last player you was offside.
All this interfering with or not interfering with play malarkey is such a grey area it's got ridiculous.
