@mudsticks That’s a marvellous picture. Make me want rush out to buy a few different squash to brighten up the kitchen.
It's been a bumper crop this year..well over three tonnes.
I will be struggling for warm enough storage space, tbh.
These are first 'curing' in a polytunnel to make their skins firmer, so they'll last through winter.
But they ultimately need to be stored frost free.
I've just 'leant' a couple of barrow loads to a friend for her autumn shop window display.
She's doing me a favour really , by curing them on her premises 😊
