That's great but I'm not sure I'd have the nerve to wear it out here in Australia! Some comments on TV yesterday were just asking if they really need to play the final test, I think they would prefer them to come home now and get it over with.
Not all Aussies are happy about the pitch...Lyth and Bell playing for their careers, Buttler playing for his place.
Australia playing for whatever scrap of respect they can find, and England hoping that a 4-1 series win will neutralise the 5-0 drubbiing in Australia two winters ago.
Hopefully the Oval track will have a bit in it for both batsmen and bowlers, but I suspect that it'll be a belter of a shirt front. Important toss to win, even though it's a 'dead' rubber.

If the Aussies have got bowlers who can exploit the conditions,
Both Starc and Johnson have the pace and ability to exploit English conditions
As does/did Siddle, but they decided against using him when it mattered. On previous Ashes tour to England, Siddle had been a real threat. http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sp...ickets-milestone/story-fni2flhh-1227433948053
He can bat a bit, too.
Pretty anonymous against Northants at the weekend
I assume that the Aussies won't be preparing fast, bouncy pitches for our next visit...Not all Aussies are happy about the pitch...
