I watch Eurosport for the cycling - but a lot I have watched has had terrible coverage
The grand Tours are OK - TdF is good but ITV do it better (this year only apparently!) but the other 2 not so good but OK

Other races can be dodgy - often just cuts into the live coverage with no background
One race seemed to be a second/third tier race - no names I knew anywhere
then towards the end suddenly a group of top Tdf type rider suddenly popped up and took over - they had not even been mentioned before and I had been watching for well over 30 minutes!
It was basically just the full race commentary with no intro and the commentators were clearly no aware the highlight watchers had joined!


and often it starts or finished at different time to those on the schedule - so if I record it I miss the start and I often get 45 minutes of tennis at the start of a 60 minute recording
Just terrible service!!

Which may be why they don;t get the viewing figures they want??


anyway - I'll not be paying extra on top of the basic Virgin package plus Sports and a couple of bit - it already costs a lot and I'm not adding more money every month for coverage that is often not taht great!

Horses for courses, like I said for the few £ difference between sky sports and tnt sport it's worth it of the marital harmony.

At last! Me and Remco have something in common!

Remco Evenepoel had his new credit card stolen by the person who was supposed to deliver it.

In 1984 I got my first credit card. I filled in all the forms, and the first thing I received in the post, before I even got my card, was a bill for several hundred pounds from various petrol stations. Bloody rob-dog postman.

Alula Tour (formerly Saudi Tour) on Eurosport 1 now. Highlights pebbledashed across the schedule (recent news makes me too cross to try to spot patterns), but there's a rare half hour live at 1130 today. Might be more. You know how reliable Eurosport's EPG isn't.

Joined with 80km to go. Live. If they really cut away after half an hour, it'll be a new low for Eurosport editorial decisions!

Warner Bros. Discovery also owns Quest and will be putting some free-to-air content on there, including highlights of the Grand Tours and Paris-Roubaix from this year. There is also to be a new weekly cycling show. 'The Ultimate Cycling Show' will be hosted by Orla Chennaoui and Adam Blythe and launches for 15 weekly episodes on February 27th, promising to cover "key parts of the season" and editorially "designed to cater to the seasoned fan, plus attract and engage new audiences".

Any other presenter I would watch it. Just can't listen to Orla.

NB. Before someone calls me sexist or racist I have a similar dislike to listening to Gary Linaker.
