ITV has lost the right to broadcast the TdF as from July 2026 and so has Euro Sport and all other franchises as an American company has bought them all to cover all sports and will be charging £31 a month for the privilege.
They won't be getting a penny from me.
Greedy sods.

Not quite right: the American company bought Eurosport some time ago, then got the rights instead of ITV, and now is closing Eurosport because they want people to subscribe to their other more expensive sport channels instead.

Hang on, it's just dawned on me, won't we see Orla anymore??

I have a soft spot for her as not only is she from my neck of the woods, she is also very good at her job, there's a lot of presenters who could learn from her.

Orla seems to have moved to TNT. What I don't know yet is whether Eurosport viewers will still see her, maybe with some bits rerecorded to say a different channel name and the TNT video fx branding replaced. Some of the reporters like Matt Stephens now have both channel logos on their clothes and kit.

Thank goodness for that.
