? I thought @bridgy was sneaking an attack so just went for it! Bit of a long sprint and the last 250m were a killer...
It was a bit of a half-hearted attack - really just the momentum from a slightly downhill that shot me off the front. I could never have hung on to the end though and ended up mucking up the finish completely.

Never mind - getting there in our four man breakaway was fun!

Yeah, I had a big smile on that ride, actually had butterflies thinking about how it was going to end with about 5km left! I'd put my money on you for an earlier breakaway at around 1.5km and just made sure I didn't go for the drinks bottle in case you were watching!

Im happy to do either tonight but I will SC on Thursday and GC on Saturday
What say you all as I would be happy to give @Brusgaard at tow at 07 00pm UK local

Thanks, but my knee has shown no lasting improvement over the last month, so I guess it's about time to stop cycling. Might as well count me out of the August CG and probably the SC too... :cursing: My last two sessions have been utter crap (compared to a month ago), with my knee hurting from start till finish...

I wondered why you weren't riding in the group with us today considering the power you made in the Summer Cup stage 2. That was an impressive performance at over 400watts for over 30 mins. Hope you get better soon then we'll have to watch out.

Did the SC4 on Sunday, finishing about 12 minutes behind you guys. (and even more than 3 minutes behind @Marino.g) Must visit the GP after the holidays and get a time for a scan of the old knee...

That was an absolute blast for me, flat but fun.
Everyone came through when they could and made sure not big gaps opened and the paced just stayed on.
I tried lift it a few times but not only could I see our line stretching but my legs were hurting too.
I thought we had a real TTT going until someone blew it apart

Yeah, it was a pretty exciting ride and one of the best team efforts for 4 riders I can remember. The end was mental after the breakaway and I remember trying to stay with AAAC as he sprinted away and my power readout was 800w but that wasn't enough. I'm not sure I've ever pushed that hard before. Then I had no choice but to freewheel.

I pressed the right button three times and hit 874 watts.
I think the small slope transition helped the watts and I peaked 67.4 kph near the end.
DP spiked at 72 kph at the beginning of his charge and held 60 kph ish for 500m
