So who's doing the mammoth Summer Cup stage 5 tonight? I'm hoping to be back from work in time for the 7pm (UK time) start....

It doesn't look completely flat but not exactly mountainous either I think, so with the long distance involved any teamwork to reserve energy levels would be welcome!
Unfortunately I will be unlikely to make it tonight. It would have been a great ttt though!

I'll be there for the 7pm one Paul. Only thing is I'm not sure my legs have recovered from Tuesday yet so I might not be able to stay with you.

Ignition on and ready to roll Rubber Duck let those truckers roll.

Here's the plan: When we get to the pass, we're gonna put on our fish costumes, pass out the Vaseline® an' an extra ration o' rum for the men. That should do it.

I've just completed the 5pm run as that's where the fancy wheels will be going tonight.. what with the fancy helmet, and my soon to be fancy wheels, I'll soon be a right cycling dandy... :girldance:

It's a bit of a slog and mere mortals like what I am need to save a bit for the second half. One has to avoid the temptation to go out too strong (Rob) - thanks for your support though, you can count on mine at 7.

Advice - watch out for the 12% dead stop at 7.5 miles... other than that - avoid the lightning... it's very very frightening.

Guests up tomorrow and for the weekend, so that's it for me for now... now then, where's my SIB (Science in Beer)..

Enjoy the cupping.
