Another crazy climbing day. From the pictures it looks like you and the bike are working perfectly. I bet you're glad you took your own bike.

Funny thing..... Everyone said remover rear derailleur as its easy and just goes back on. Well i struggled for ages to get it on then had to go to bike shop to get it indexed. Rode 200km then this morning at the start thought id put some air in tyres. Ended up busting the valve so the tour mechanic sorted it. He struggled getting the wheel off and told me the derailleur was on wrong as it wants moving. Seems there is a piece that the limit screws go against and id put it in wrong.

Think I’ve picked up a chest infection. My Christmas party is this Saturday. Impeccable timing as always!

Hard luck mate - I got Covid sitting next to a coughing mouth breather on the plane home , don’t know about anyone else but seemed to get me worse this time and really hit the lungs again , least you should be better for Santa

Sorry Shim, I think I was one of the guys who said remove it. Glad you got it sorted though. And you’ll find it easier next time (Hopefully!)

I would like to cheer you up by telling you the full story about the time I over tightened my peddle so much spinning it the wrong was that I needed to remove the crank arm and put it in a vice to remove it. But Lee takes too much pleasure in hearing it!

I didn’t realise you were on an organised tour. It looks really cool.

nah - tested positive - pointless really cos I work on my own and only one day I thought I was a gonna so didnt go in , missus was also positive and had to have 6 days off !
oh and thanks for reminding me about the pedals , should keep me tittering for a few days - sad thing is , I did the same the other day ! - did you watch the bloke undo pedals with Allen key and an inner tube ? dont think I would try it on a carbon Frame cos something would give in the end !
just done a time on that route (I think ) 9.3 mile ?

See you in Germany
