What time are you folks doing league run tonight please?

Apologies that I won’t make it tonight for the live race. 45 today…. At least my weight has dropped a little the last few weeks to console my age going up!

I’m going to do a workout type ride now and do the race tomorrow I think.

Hope you’re not in pain Bruus. I think I was lucky mine didn’t cause me too much issue. I just googled wisdom teeth to see where the name originated from. Turns out the Greeks and then the Romans both had words that described them that way. odontias sophias, and dentes sapientiae. Which translate to teeth of wisdom apparently.
Anyway… I’m clearly procrastinating to put off my work out at this point!

No, not too much pain currently, the 8+ shots of anesthesia probably still works to a certain extent.

Also, this specialist got the job done within 25 minutes or so, where the others gave up only after 2 hours of digging, drilling, pulling and what not. However, the remaining tooth next to it doesn't have sufficent grip to the bone by one of the 3 roots. Given my age, I would no longer create new bone material (whatever it is called) around it , so my dentist would have to keep an eye on it going forward...
These days they apparently remove these problematic ones when you are 18-25 yo because of this... But she said, the recommendation was different almost 20 years ago, so no suing my (long retired) dentist from back then.

And happy birthday! Remember to have your teeth checked, as you will soon be 50+ like most of us!
