OK I did the Stg 4 re-run after some faffing about.

In the session I beat @Goldwolfie 's Ghost. In time I did not, but I was only 4 seconds down. I know where I lost it as well :cursing:, that little flatter bit about 2km long about 4 or 5km out. My legs just went bang with 500m to go on the flatter bit.. If it had been a live race I am not sure what would have happened. Could I have held on or would @Goldwolfie caught and beatten me

Just like the old days on the downhill sections - we were always pretty close.

On Thursday I was flat out right up to the point when I realised I wouldn't be caught, which was about 200 metres from the end.

Well done young man - that second climb did for me. I knew there was a reason why I only have one attempt at each stage (90 seconds slower this time around).

I didn’t even see you pass me at the start. Can you imagine my surprise when I caught up with Randy‘s ghost only to see you up the road? Once I had a lead, I tried to hold you with a little in the bank for the last climb. I limped over the line. 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️👍

I was trying to gauge it against the time left display on the bottom left. I knew it was gonna be close so I held back a bit for the flatter section, didn't quite hold back enough

I would have let you get closer @AndyMacca but the whip lashes on my back became too painful! Hope we spurred you to a good time, I obviously won't be counting mine as it was somewhat assisted!
Yes thanks with Brusgaard and his ghost relentlessly chasing and you untouchable up the road I was in a bit of no mans land but pushed like crazy, I smashed my 1st time by about 4mins, I knew I was lazy on that first attempt. My HRM died about half way unfortunately but it's safe to say my avg HR was 5bpm higher than reported in the data, FWIW my Bkool FTP nudged up by 4w so must have been going some.
Sounds like some good battles tonight, the series will get even better as more rejoin for the winter.👍

Just looked at the data on a 52/11 @95-105 rpm I was putting out 100-150w.

I'm not sure what I could have done, other than put it in erg mode, to generate any more power. :cursing:

That was my ghost from last year. Last week was 12 minutes slower, but 10 minutes faster than the end of last June. Soon ill be competitive with you guys again.
