@Brusgaard as the best, not just of us, but perhaps the best there is, could you investigate messab, the winner of September's league. I suspect we have another rogue. His stats look a little dubious, and not just because he beat me. It's rare that somebody can climb that fast and descend that fast. I can do one, @Goldwolfie can do the other but we'd both admit we can't do both. If you need it i can give you his weight the next time i approve one of his rides.

Just divide his watts by the wkg, and you get his weight.
Stage 1: 83,38 kg
Stage 2: 83,73 kg
Stage 3: 84,59 kg
Stage 4: 83,40 kg

More or less the same weight, and any difference could be due to BKOOL rounding numbers.

That said, he is listed as using a Wahoo trainer, but not which model. However, it is a known fact, that you can mis-calibrate the KICKRs, if you want some extra watts. That is why they have removed the user calibraton from the latest generation of KICKR.

Can’t find a Strava profile, so we have to make do with the BKOOL data....

I'll message him on Facebook, see if he wants to join our league.

Backtrack on that, he doesn't allow contact. I got all excited when I found his profile.
[edit2]
Found an email address on his photography website so I've mailed instead, hopefully will reply.

It's backwards like his facebook page 'Messab Ruomaj'
Yes it is him, maybe he doesn’t want to be easily found.

I thought the rule was that you need to be known to be be included in the leagues. Can you not just not approve his rides until he posts?

You guys found me, I have to start working on a new name, make it harder :-)
Yeah it was too easy

Congratulations on the September league victory 👍 and hope you can join some of the October live rides.

Typically it's, Thursday 18:00 UK time, join the warm up, check this forum to see who's starting then search for them in the 'Routes' under the filter. then at 18:10 start riding, if you can't make that one then there's a re-run on Saturday at 17:00 UKT warm-up for a 17:10 start.

I tried Rouvy today. The full-HD video is a real pleasure to watch, as is the augmented reality. I also like the more detailed rider information (e.g. w/kg). But I don't think I will switch from Bkool. Although it would be nice if Bkool also started offering full-HD video's, like other competitors do (1920x1080 resolution).
I also might give BigRingVR a try, I read a lot of positive things about it.
The weather is getting somewhat colder now, I might be joining you on the Thursday rides again soon

I kept my BRVR subs going, even when I couldn't ride, because of the quality of the video and I knew I'd eventually be back.

The SW has come on a lot since it started.

I'm using Zwift Factory workouts over the videos and once the workout is complete it allows you to finish the video.

You can break up the rides into shorter segments if you don't want, or are unable, to complete them in one session. They now are able to continue an unfinished ride to completion.

If there are other riders doing the same video ride, at the same time as you are, they are shown on the ride profile. You can also select riders who have completed the route to compete against.

They have over 400 videos from all over the world and keep adding more each month. From classic well known routes to stunning new areas. From 3km long leg snappers to 80+km long tours. Some are quite vicious .

You can run your own videos with associated gps files to re-live your favorite routes. I'm generating some of the rides I did in Spain in August and September.

I really like the system due to the quality of video and variety of the rides.

You'll get a shock when you actually have a hill... I've seen your real world rides with no elevation!

I agree. I still pay for both but seldom ride BigRing. I did like the Tacx program but it wasn't different enough to make it worth picking up another subscription. I paused Swift after not riding in it for a few months.
I did just order the Tacx steering and will have to swap out the mini mac I'm using in the bike shed. That will also allow me to re buy the original VR program I started with 20 years ago. It has steering but doesn't run on IOS. It has a one time charge to buy different course with no subscription and it used to use a game portal for online races. I don't mind paying the $10 a month for multiple subscriptions if I use them. Its cheaper than a latte every week.
