Hi lads, back to the trainer tyre I know chris has got one but was after some feedback on how much tyre comes off them as mine seems to
come off quite a bit and was a little concerned that it seems to go into the bkool machine any thoughts welcome.

I had a load of black stuff come off when I was using a cheapo tyre, since I changed to my trainer tyre I get very little but I wipe the turbo down with a baby wipe after each session just in case.

Was looking at that myself,Mine expires at the end of feb but was hoping might be more outdoor than indoor by then.
I suspect there will be deals throughout the year on offer though.

Couple of sessions yesterday evening, the 9.9km TT of the Dubai Tour 2014 E1, wanted under 16 minutes but failed by 24 seconds. It was a good warm up for the 14.7km 1st stage of the Tour of Britain which I really enjoyed, got a ok time as well (27:58), even though I wasn't 'going for it'.

If only they had the Tour of Oman up as video rides, that would be more interesting cycling from that part of the world.

Btw does anyone else find the cornering on the video rides a bit disconcerting, having obviously been filmed on a motorbike?

Yup. Nearly fell off going down Honister, and then again on Newlands. The instinct to lean the bike is too strong.
In future, when I see a sharp downhill corner approaching I'll look away from the screen.

Mine has expired and i wont bother until the end of year. As i only use the trainer as a last resort.

That said if this weather keeps up....

I've had a few 'go missing' for a whIle, longest about 3 hours. I did read somewhere that logging in and out of BSIM a few times can speed it up. I can't say it has made much of a difference for me.
