Guys, just a heads-up that I wont be online tomorrow for another handicap race. Got out today for a ride with a guy who's much fitter than me so legs are toast. :sweat: Wouldnt be able to muster the energy for a repeat of Thursday!

I thought you guys had enough yesterday :-)

I'm not sure how much I will be able to Bkool in the near future, since my main goal of the year is near, and I have a training plan which include long outdoor rides combined with short interval training.
Thanks for having me in. I hope I can join in if I get the itch.

FYI, the main goal of the year is the Copenhagen Gran Fondo Time Trial (http://copenhagengranfondo.dk/). This is an event where a simple commuter like me can have a go at qualifying for the world championship.

I'm at strava at http://www.strava.com/athletes/1141907 ( and BTW that's my son on that picture - well, and Arnold)

That was rather tough after last night. Totally overshadowed by you going and getting yourself to Active9 though:cycle:

:secret:Interestingly I only made 5th place on strava and the bkool power readout is actually low compared to others around the same speed.

:notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:
Just found a similar segment at strava, That time would put Bill in second place, possible a KOM, since the segment is a little shorter (3.8 km at 8:08).
Not bad on a list of 2246 riders. :thumbsup:

<edit>
You beat me to it, and also found a better segment. Where is it, could you post a link?)
</edit>

<edit again>
Duhh, didn't noticed the links on the list, sorry about that.

I was a bit done in after the FTP test, I was actually relieved when you disappeared off the start line! :biggrin:

The 16% bit was bloody hard to turn the pedals, I actually had to stand up!

Geoff

P.S. Hoping to go and grab a video of this climb soon, and perhaps give it a go on the bike?

Yeah, when I saw your FTP test I wondered how you could have done the Cheddar climb. I know I couldn't after my last FTP test.

Geoff, just a quick question. If I were to just drive a route in my car, using Strava, but at normal cad driving speed, and then exported it to BKool. I could ride that route in map mode couldn't I? As long as I didn't want video.
