Don't forget to do the fixed 2% league stage, just save a few seconds, that'll be fine!

EDIT: Great, got Bill's and Tony's, if anyone else can post it before it closes tomorrow I'll set your time for the league.

Fluffed the bloody start again ... had Caps Lock on and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't accept the password (just greyed out the button). If I'd have got in on time, we might have been crossing the finish line 3 a breast...

Or Bill would have just pushed a little harder and still beaten me! :B)

my video editing skills are carp, give me a database and a budget savings target anyday!

View: https://youtu.be/oVQ__futDnk

I was playing with the views, managed to get some good action, especially when Paul flew by Bill near the end, and a great battle with Bill and Geoff.

Sorry about the quality, I had to quickly install some someware to capture the screen output and didn't get the setting quite right!

Wils, great to see you in the race, I think you should have given t'other Paul about 4 minutes head start!

Result of the rerun

With handicaps that makes it

1st: Paul - 49:19
2nd: Bill - 49:33
3rd: Geoff - 49:12 (If only I hadn't fluffed the start)
4th: Rayvon - 56:13
Wils: No Handicap so hard to say

Well done Paul, that's a long time to push while watching the chasers get closer and closer, great to get back past Bill and beat him to the line!

I'll publish a little video and a combined result tomorrow, and post times in the league for anyone who has saved a Fixed 2% League stage.

Thanks to all who took part, I'll get another one set up for mid way through next month!

A previous night on the Guinness, Mexican for lunch, bike fell off trainer as not clamped in enough, felt like crap and now feel worse.

Think I need hair of the dog.

In which case, well done for holding us off for so long and for sticking it out to the very end. :bravo:

No I don't think I could have pushed any harder and still made it to the end. I was just going at my usual speed which is as quick as I can.

Kip dropped in and said "smile. You're on camera", so looks like he must have recorded some of the race

edit: Which indeed he has. Great to watch the race from other perspectives.

Bill, thanks for the draft down the descent, it really helped overcome the lack of gravity assist with the KICKR, that's why I was so desperate to stay in front until the top of the climb.

I was done in by the time we got to the bottom and had to let you go, but I'm sure the tow down helped me to take another 26 seconds off thursday's time, as I was much less rested this time round.

If I have a go at your mountain tomorrow it may be a VERY steady effort! :heat:

Anyway, better not be late for my guests ...

I missed it too! Was palming kids off with my parents, and when I got home, rushed to the computer but you'd already finished! I was surprised at how dissappointed I was to have missed even watching it, never mind participating.
