3 minutes! I only knocked 1:40 off mine.

And I knocked 3 1/2 minutes off mine and still got thumped by Kip and Bill.

The format did seem to motivate us all to give 110%, and the handicaps were designed to give the faster guys a chance to come through towards the end (as is only fair) as it meant more interaction and a chance to grab a tow.

80% seem about right?

Unfortunately, can't make saturday Geoff, got my Triathlon first thing Sunday morning, and not sure I fancy rocking up at the start walking like John Wayne with piles.

That looked like a great race. Some serious Watts being produced from everyone. That was fun to watch, almost made up for not being involved.
Was umming and ahhing about jumping in 20 minutes late, but decided to sulk instead.
Thanks for the encouragement Adam. I really didn't have too much left at the end. Gone are the days when 300 watts or so is enough to get the job done.
You could have jumped in as the last rider. That's always an option for anyone in the future.

Bill, no sign of your session yet, did you get it uploaded OK or is it still in your simulator?
Woops! I was in such a state at the end I don't remember if I saved it or not. I'm guessing I didn't as bkool seem to have fixed that problem these days.

And again Adam, thanks for the comments

I wondered what happened LB. You shot ahead and ended up way in the lead before exiting. I think it must have defaulted to your last power output, which was quite high, and you stormed past everyone.
I was doffing my cap at your Herculean efforts!

I think it was more downto the speed. It must have been cut off right before an ascend and locked on 49 km/h. I was still going 49 km/h uphill and was quite pleased with myself until I found out what was going on :shy:

And Bill, you are just a Cyborg, sent back in time to humiliate us mortal cyclists. Either that, or a very fit Leprachaun, in your new green garbs!

Says the guy who kicked my arse last time out:laugh:

Hope it all goes well for your Triathlon Adam. Here's hoping your hamstring holds out.

You're lucky. I had that happening to me near the start

Storming race from you LB until it all went wrong. I wasn't so sure I'd be able to stay with you.

Well I was feeling the same way about you :-) I was getting a bit tired and tried to settle down at some fewer watts, but you kept on pounding those pedals.
At the same time my son was trying to make a conversation while I was gasping away. He told me he would like to be an englishman, because they have eggs and sausage for breakfast.
I don't think I'll be doing any living room sessions anymore.

With handicaps that makes it

1st: Bob - 47:19
2nd: Bill - 47:54
3rd: Kipster - 48:27
4th: Geoff - 48:29
5th: Monte - 49:14
6th: Blue - 51:45

Pretty close and Personal Bests for everyone (Monte and Bob were doing it for the first time)

I'll feed in the new times and tweak the handicaps for Saturday!

Your son makes a good point though! Sausages and eggs form the very foundations of being an Englishman. Just don't tell him about black pudding.

Yes me too. It's pulling a bit now. Wish I knew exactly what it was. Had it for ages now, but it's an annoyance more than a hindrance.

Edited video of Handicap Chase is here ...
View: http://youtu.be/OMml_xyk8G0

At 8:50 in the video I make a complete mess of the gears on a steep gradient and grind to a halt, just as Bill whizzes past!

Once again, sorry it's mainly from my perspective, although most of you feature at some point! To get multiple perspectives would be better, but I would have to sit out and miss the ride.

I will suggest to Bkool that they provide a "replay" facility to play back through a session and pick different view points, that would be kool!
