I would have made Active 10 if I'd quit at 30 minutes, but thought that might be a bit rude.
Besides, had Bill in my sights for a while there. But once again he cooked me!
I'm having none of that Adam. If we'd started at the same time you would have cooked me. And now our PB's are exactly the same. Looks like I'm going to have to chase down your ghost one of these evenings and beat it by a second or two. And that of course will force you to do the same. That's how progress works and we'll be in the 48's in no time:smile:

I was wondering if you'd go up to active10 on that ride. I thought even if you slowed after the 30 mins it still counted the power over the first 30 mins. Maybe not though.

Please don't. And, even if you do, I refuse to be drawn. My training is going to be taking a shift swing erring on the side of cadence and stamina.
Enough of this 'balls out' for an hour stuff for a bit....it's killing me!

But, we both know, I'll not be able to resist having a go!

Only just got in, well done on all the pb's, what were the final standings?

Blueface (by about 1 second)

Bill
Adam (Fluffed the start)

I did a quick calculation based on the actual times posted and the handicaps assigned.
This eliminates the differences between how close to the handicap did people actually get going (esp. Adam) and gives the following...

Not really fair on Bill to do a 49:33 and come last! :notworthy:

:rain: Nice touch for sure - but I cant ever see myself deliberately selecting a headwind to add to the realism!!

Im not sure you'll have a choice as such, i from the way i understand it it will use data from the real location

I did wonder if the rain affected the rolling resistance last night? I didn't seem to have much affect, and there didn't seem to be any wind effect either. Bills time was exactly the same as his previous time.

I tend to start sessions now by going into details and then setup and making sure I have turned off the bots, weather and wind before starting. Don't really want to ride in the simulated dark.
