Sorry I wasn’t clearer earlier. FWIW the NEO is often discounted to £8-850 on Amazon if you can hang on and keep an eye on the site. Halfords then price match and you get the BC discount on top usually.
I would suggest NEO because it’s a stupendous bit of kit, as accurate as it gets AND Tacx support is pretty exemplary. Made in Holland too so easy to return and get replaced. As I found out.
Otherwise I reckon you would be v happy with the hammer. The Titanium geek review is especially positive.

The only thing I have against Tacx is I bought a set of the 100 quid rollers ... Great rollers and I can use them no issue, serious workout stuff. They unfortunately developed a fault where the bearings which are press fit, work loose and the bloody noise is incredible.

Tacx fix is to bang the bearings in tighter with a suitable size socket. By the time I found a real fix (new sealed bearings, and bearing glue) the damage had been done ... Still the Neo is ten times the price so one expcexp the component quality to be better.

I think i skip direct drive trainers from this year. I have new reference set-up, Bkool Smart Pro 1 and Quarq powermeter. If i compare my last winter Zwift Session i can tell my performance is now lower, that's how it looks. I have lookin for realism and now i have it. Can't produce same power what i did last winter, watts are lower, so lot of capacity left with Bkool trainer.

Well, I've just ordered a Tacx Neo from Chain Reaction Cycles.

Got £100 off with my British Cycling discount.

So, next question. Can anyone give me some guidance on how and when to start bitching about Bkool's dodgy power algorithms and why I'm stuck on the start line 30 seconds after everyone else has left?

Seriously, looking forward to it, but expecting that I'm going to have to review whether I carry on using the Bkool Sim, try out Zwift or take a look at others like BigRingVR.

Looking forward to the advice!!
:boxing:
