No doubt about it. It's a part of a idea of indoor cyclingDon’t encourage them juhal. It’s most likely the people who took the long route just wanted a bit more of a challenge

Tommy, Is that a map you are reading there ?
Thankyou Bill. feeling good at the moment. Not sure how much flattery my turbo was giving me...felt ok, but then it usually does on hills.....lets see on the DD just how fit I am!!Fantastic ride Adam . Nothing I could do to stay with you if I wanted to make it to the end. Looks like you're fighting fit for the DD.
Or you and @Breedon just wanted some quality time togetherDon’t encourage them juhal. It’s most likely the people who took the long route just wanted a bit more of a challenge
Pembrokeshire is beautiful. You should come down for the Long Course Weekend. Incredibly well supported. It's basically an Ironman event but spread over three days. You do the sea swim on the friday night, the 112 mile bike on the saturday, and run a marathon on the sunday. I'm 'supposed' to be doing it next year...seemed like a good idea after 6 pints!I’m thinking I’d make a holiday out of it this time. I’d like to take my daughter to see Pembrokeshire so I’m thinking I’d hire a camper van and do a bit of a tour.
I watched that on the Bike channel when it was on air. Looked like a great weekend.Pembrokeshire is beautiful. You should come down for the Long Course Weekend. Incredibly well supported. You can do 1,2 or all the events, whatever you want.....or none...which is probably the most sensible.

Ohh a CycleChat piss upI think it’s one of my favourite places in the world.
Unfortunately unlike you add I’m stone cold sober and there’s no chance I’m signing up to any of that!
Could come up and watch though mate
To answer your first question - no, the power figures for the bkool trainer differ depending on the software platform. Zwift shows considerably lower (and nearer to realistic) power than the bkool app doesThanks for your replies to my message about power readings with the BKool compared to real power meters etc. I`ve just done a ride on Rouvy using
the BKool trainer and got average power reading of 233w compared to the 4iiii PM reading of 199w. I just wondered if the BKool gives the same
readings whichever platform its being used on or if the different platforms do their own power calculations?? I`ve also been reading all the comments
by cyclechat members about changing to a trainer with an accurate power meter such as Kickr or Tacx Neo, after using the 4iiii power meter and now
realising there was such a difference in the BKool power readings and real power meter readings and thinking I was pushing more power than I
really am , I too am thinking of changing trainers, anyone had any experience with a an Elite Direto? Seems like a good direct drive trainer with a
pretty accurate power meter.
Are you still on the Bkool trainer Paul?To answer your first question - no, the power figures for the bkool trainer differ depending on the software platform. Zwift shows considerably lower (and nearer to realistic) power than the bkool app does
