I have a Elite RealPower, it includes so called ritmo feet which allows rocking side to side too. I would like that trainer, unfortunately it's not compatible with these modern software's, no ant+ fe-c protocol support.

I like that the last one TB put up.
There’s a Rocker plate FB group you Handy Andy’s would enjoy. This looks nice and straightforward and supposedly an improvement over using tennis balls.
UPDATE. So after a week of riding I spent some time dialing in my rocker plate. I mounted the trainer on a strip of wood and made it so I could slide it and inch left or right to account for the offset weight of the trainer. Same perpendicular slots for the Front end. I was able to use a rack mount quick release attached to an almost perfect piece of scrap metal I had that I salvaged. (Sorry I don't have a link for that.) For cushioning the half balance balls,
2 each side, are brilliant and feel great. Much better than an inner tube. I will eventually try the bigger one but for now this is great.

I've found a supply of Pillow bearings, not too expensive. so will upgrade design to use these. Half massage balls great idea.

I still think having the front wheel to turn or pivot independent of the rocker board will be no detriment. I may if it's successful go for a full board later. It's fantastic that there are so many different ideas flying around :hyper:

He particularly didn't like the shimy a sprint/big increase in power created on the design he used. I think the dynamics of what a bike does was replicated by it, but owing to the limits movement, the way it felt was not the same. The basic idea made sense to him, but the execution was slightly lacking.

There is a long way to go in the design of the 'rocker plate'
