No-one in a rush to do the Colle della Fauniera then?

I was wondering what kind of time it might take! It looks very similar to Col de la Bonette, so I'm guessing just short of 2 hours?

If I could keep the watts up a bit it might be quicker (only managed 223 Watts on Bonette), I'll stock up on Snickers.

Geoff

Yeah, kind of strange no one rushing to do that one. I'll be doing it tomorrow around 5:00 if you or anyone else wants to join in.

The promised update, perhaps you'll be able to update the firmware now?

* Ghosts visible in map view
* Rivals added to video view
* New 3D camera angles added
* Bkool 3D Real Weather (TM)

Updated my software tonight.

Then, throughout a 9km ride it kept displaying "Do you want to end your current session" popup, which then disappeared/reappeared intermittently until I had finished the ride.

Any ideas? Should I have restarted the BKOOL? If so, surely a quick message box after the installation? It's not difficult.

Definitely need to power off/on the Bkool trainer after a firmware upgrade.

First time I did it it worked for a while, then the next session I started showed zero watts until I power cycled the trainer. It was fine after that.

They should put up a message (or do a restart themselves).

Furry Kinells Bill, that was bloody relentless!

Getting a bit stiff after an hour and 35 minutes and thinking I could just about coast home, and bang, another 12%+ section ... :heat:

Was entertained for the first 45 minutes by trying to close the gap on Rayvon, not very successfully, but then the last hour was just a case of trying to maintain average watts and not over do it.

It's not like it's a race ... just trying to get to the top!

Yes, totally relentless. I thought it would never end and was always wishing there was a ghost or other rider to race against. On the second half I was out of the saddle for most of it, which I never could have done with my last tyre. Rayvon was flying by the looks of it. Well done Geoff. Hopefully it'll get some of the rest fired up:smile:

Agreed, but it was a BSIM software update, not a firmware update.

Hopefully it will be an interruption free session next time.

Saw the times in the league, and rubbing my hands with glee, leapt aboard my BKool to challenge my Ol' mate Bill. By the time I had installed my update, my enthusiasm had faltered, and I decided to check out the new visible opponents in video mode. Which would have been great, if I hadn't lead from the start.
You guys aren't exactly selling it mind you, sounds hard!

The whole bkool update whether BSIM software or firmware is a complete shambles in my opinion. I have never managed to get any update of any type from bkool. I have no problems with any other program. I can delete BSIM and re-install but I cannot get this update.
I get a message that says:

Error writing temporary file
make sure your temp folder is valid

Just spent the past hour googling and trying to get my temp folder fixed. Not looking good as I am no IT wizard.

I have a picture in my mind of you rubbing your hands with glee and enthusiastically leaping aboard your bkool. I think I've had that mental picture before for some reason .
I think you can win it Adam but you'll have to dig deep. Its not an easy one and as Geoff says, after a while you just want to get to the end. If you beat me, which is quite likely, I doubt I'll try and get it back off you :rain:
